Agency services are primarily assessment, court advocacy, court ordered restrictions, counseling, monitoring rehabilitation, supervision, evaluation and treatment planning, patient treatment referrals, and food/shelter/job placement service referrals. Target populations are pretrial and convicted offenders. New in 2000, this program began providing case management services to a misdemeanor drug treatment court and with funding is scheduled to provide case management to the planned County Drug Court.

This program began operation in 1982. This agency's services are advocacy, crisis intervention, counseling for substance abuse, and assessment referrals. This program also includes a juvenile community restoration program, coordinated by Tracy Caprood, to provide community protection, restore the victim, and to build competency in adjudicated juveniles. This program serves men and women of all ages who are either substance abusers, convicted offenders, transients, or emotionally and/or mentally challenged.

This is an alternative-to-incarceration program, with a restorative justice focus, that builds competency and accountability in selected offenders who would otherwise be incarcerated. Through a process of daily reporting, offenders are held accountable for maintaining a daily agenda and any specialized conditions ordered by the court.

This program provides supervision and treatment for felony offenders who are eligible for probation and who would otherwise be committed to an incarcerative sentence with the NYS Department of Correctional Services (DOCS). The goal of this project is to reduce the number of DOCS commitments made in this county on an annual basis, for those non-violent offenders who could be appropriately managed in the community, with a system of graduated sanctions and service. The project provides day reporting or day treatment services, electronic monitoring, intensive supervision and other forms of offender control to ensure his or her law-abiding behavior and satisfaction of the court ordered conditions of release, such as restitution, community service and participation in substance abuse treatment.

This program began operation in 1985. This project provides all criminal court clients, initially unable to post bail, the opportunity to be interviewed to determine eligibility for release from jail. The interview process objectively assesses the defendant's qualifications for release through release on his/her own recognizance (ROR), or, where the court determines the risk of absconding to be greater, through release under supervision (RUS). Program operations will include screening, eligibility determinations, monitoring functions where appropriate, and court notification of those who fail to satisfy release requirements.

This is an agency of county government. Agency services include the preparation of pre-sentence investigations and reports for the criminal courts and the supervision of criminals sentenced to probation. Investigation and supervision functions are also provided for criminals released from jail by the Local Conditional Release Commission. Investigation and supervision services are also provided for Family Court.
